Pacific Crest Sports Weekend

While in Sunriver, a few of us competed in the Pacific Crest Sports Weekend.  We chose to race in the 10K event on Sunday morning. 

 Grant and Kyle had a photo finish, after 6.2 miles of racing.

 Cassera and I ran together the whole race. 

 However our finish was not as close.  Cassera is not pictures because she had already crossed the finish line.  By the way, the picture looks as though I am walking, but I promise I WAS running!! :)

 A big thanks to Grandpa and Grandma for watching the three boys during the race, so we could compete. 

Sunriver

We just got back from 10 days in Sunriver.  So be on the lookout for lots of blog postings!!  It may take me a few days to get caught up. :)

Milestones

During the last few days, Pierce has experienced a few milestones.  He is no longer using the Bumbo seat since he can now pull himself out of it!

 He is sitting all by himself, like a big boy!  Well for a few seconds he can sit. :)

 Last night he had his first experience with solid foods.  The main course was brown rice cereal with bananas.  Thanks, Rebecca, for the homemade rice cereal.

 Pierrce loved it!!  And I think Grandma did too. :)

Great Friends in Portland

We just got back from spending 5 days in Portland, at Nana's house.  While we were there, we were able to see lots of friends!

Beckett and Nolan had a great play date together. 

The boys worked on sharing...yummy!! :)

 Beckett found a new car for Nana!

 We saw the Couch family and Hannah and Pierce had lots of snuggles. 

 One afternoon we had lunch with Auntie Tera.  You can see that Beckett was very excited about ti!  He even got to go into the veterinary clinic that she works at and feed a cat.  He has been talking about it ever since!

 while Beckett and Caylee had a little story time.

Father's Day 2012

On Father's Day we started the day off by going to church and then out for brunch.

 Pierce got lots of love from Grandma Naomi. 

 Then it was off for frozen yogurt.

 Then it was gift time!  Beckett was kind enough to help Daddy unwrap his gifts.

Nana's 60th Birthday Celebration

Nana turned 60, so we had a birthday fiesta!

 Since Nana loves donuts, we made her a donut cake.

 Beckett and Nana sure enjoyed the tasty treats!

 We had the fiesta in Grandpa Frank and Grandma Naomi's beautiful backyard. 

 Beckett organized a little game of baseball, first with the ladies

 and then with the guys!

 Pierce wanted a turn too!

 After all the baseball excitement, Grandpa Frank and Beckett explored the garden. 

 Beckett found some delicious strawberries.

Aunt Heidi's Bridal Shower

On Saturday we went to Aunt Heidi's bridal shower. 

 The boys got to see lots of family at the shower.  Here is Pierce with his two GREAT grandmas.

Mr. Helper

Daddy has been away on business, so Beckett has become the little helper of the house this week.  This morning he told me that he wanted to change Pierce's diaper.   

 At bathtime Beckett told me that he wanted to wash Pierce's hair.  Pierce doesn't look too sure about it!

 Beckett has helped to entertain Pierce.  Here he is tickling him...

 And of course, Beckett shared a few stories with Pierce. 

 Not only did Beckett help with Pierce, but also with household things too!  The lock got jammed on the door to the garage, so Grandpa came over to take a look. 

 Good Ol' Beckett was there to give a little assistance.
