The Sun Finally Came Out

This afternoon the sun made an appearance, so we loaded the wagon with sand toys and headed to the beach.

 This was Pierce's 1st real trip to the beach. 

We met up with our fun friends, the Olson family, and played and played!

 It was really chilly down at the beach and the wind was blowing, but we were excited to be out of the house and to get some fresh air!

Time with Family

This past weekend we headed up to Portland to celebrate Easter.  While we were there, we had the opportunity to visit with LOTS of family.  Pierce met his Great Grandma Thelma for the first time.

 Beckett was excited to introduce them.

 Then of course we had to stop by and play with cousin Mason. 

 We spent one afternoon with Grandpa Frank and

 Grandma Naomi.  Pierce got lots of snuggles in. 

 Grandpa Frank let Beckett feed the ducks, while we were there. 

 Boy was that fun!

 We had a great time staying with Nana for the weekend. 

 And even Uncle Eric came up from college for the weekend!

Daddy's 1st Triathlon

On Saturday we headed down to Corvallis, for Daddy to compete in his first triathlon.  It was called the Beaver Freezer and the name was perfect for the event. 

 The boys were bundled up in the stroller and ready to watch Daddy compete.  That morning the temperatures were literally freezing!

 While Daddy was on his 12 mile bike ride, the boys and I explored campus. 

 And found all sorts of interesting things to look at, like Benny the Beaver and

 cartoons!

 Then he moved on to the final leg, which was a 3.1 mile run.

We waited at the finish line for Daddy.

 Way to go, Daddy!

Trip to the Zoo

While we were in Portland, we met up with our good friends, the Phipps family, for a trip to the zoo. 

 This was Pierce's first trip to the zoo. 

 Beckett loved the seeing the penguins. 

 A kind woman stopped me to ask if the "three headed monster" belonged to me.  I guess she was referring to my husband and kids?!?

 Beckett and Nolan saw lots of animals, like the elephants,

 lions,

 and hippos!

Being a daddy is hard work!

 What a fun afternoon!

 After the zoo, we headed to our favorite sushi restaurant.  The boys enjoyed some delicious tofu and rice.  Yum Yum!

Easter 2012

The boys got all dressed up in their Easter outfits, for church on Sunday.  They were looking pretty handsome!

After church we headed over to Uncle Travis and Aunt Katie's house for Easter dinner.  Aunt Katie is SUPER crafty and made all the kids matching shirts. 

Before dinner all the cousins got to go on an Easter Egg Hunt.

Aunt Shana made yummy deviled eggs.

 Pierce woke up from his nap, to find that all the festivities were over!  Maybe next year he will get in on all the fun. :)

3 Months Old

Our little Pierce is already 3 months old!

Easter Egg Hunt at the Library

This morning Daddy met us at the library to go on an Easter Egg Hunt.

 Beckett was a great egg finder,

 finding them in all sorts of places in the library!

 Afterwards he opened his eggs to see all the goodies!
