Wild Rivers Redwood Run

This morning Daddy and I dressed in our green running gear and headed to Stout Grove, for a St. Patrick's Day 5K race through the redwoods.
We met up with a bunch of friends from Brookings, who were all running the race.
It was a gorgeous morning for a run.
Daddy was an all-star, as usual!  He ran a 7:33 minute mile.  I was not quite that fast.  My goal was to run the whole 5K, which I did.  Just a little slower than some people. :)

Happy St. Patrick's Day

St. Patrick's Day Activities

This morning Beckett asked to do a "project."  We looked up a few fun St. Patrick's Day activities on Pinterest and got right to work!
Busy Boy Making a Tissue Paper Clover
Next we made a clover hat, followed by a little stamping.
We used a bell pepper, which was suppose to look like a clover. Beckett really got into the stamping.
Opps!  Maybe a little TOO into the stamping.
Here is Beckett all cleaned up, with his final projects...

The Boys

Lately Beckett has been showing Pierce all his trains and asking him to play with him.  Here are the boys looking at a few trains together...

Preparing for the Race

The last couple of weeks, Daddy and I have been training for an upcoming race.  Every time we get out our running gear, Beckett tells us that he wants to run.  Here he is ready to go...

Slime Time with Friends

This morning some of our friends came over and made slime!
At first Beckett did not like the texture and wanted his hands washed.  He does not like to be dirty! :)  But as the slime hardened, Beckett had a great time playing with the flubber.

Fruit Loop Necklace

This afternoon Beckett strung Fruit Loops onto a string, to make his very own cereal necklace.  I was impressed with his fine motor skills of threading the string.
 Nice Work, Beckett!
