The Last Few Days

The last few days have flown by.  The extra help around the house has been a life saver.  Grandma is officially off duty and now Daddy is on duty for the rest of the week.  We have received so many wonderful meals from family and friends since we have been home.  I have not had to cook dinner once!  What a blessing. 

Everyone keeps asking how Beckett is adjusting and the answer is...probably the best out of all of us!  He has been getting lots of special attention and here he is with is new play dough set Grandma got him.  I think he has gotten as many gifts as Pierce has! :)

 Beckett calls himself "helper" which he certainly is. 

 Pierce is 6 days old today.

 We still can't get over how small he is.  When we took him to the doctor's appointment on Monday he was 7 pounds, 8 ounces.  He just seems so tiny!

 The Lundes are a worn out bunch.  Here is Daddy and Pierce asleep on the couch, before 8pm!

Adjusting to being Home

This week we are adjusting to our new family and trying to figure things out.  Grandma has been sweet enough to take three days off of work, to give some help around the house.  This help is GREATLY appreciated. 

 Daddy is already a pro, taking care of the two boys.

 Today was Pierce's first outing...to the doctors.  Big Brother Beckett is always lending a hand with Pierce.  Here he is getting Pierce ready to go... (By the way, Beckett choose his own outfit today!)

 Daddy met us at the doctor's appointment.  The doctor said Pierce looked great and was a healthy baby boy!

Do They Look Alike?

 We weren't sure how Beckett was going to be when the new baby came along,

 but he has been great!  What a wonderful big brother he will be!!

Welcome Baby Pierce Oliver Lunde

On Thursday morning around 1:30am I had been having contrations for a few hours.  We decided it was time to make the trip to Grants Pass, to go to the hospital.  Grant made it through the canyon in record time, arriving just after 3:00am. 

 After a wonderful labor (yes, I did call it wonderful!!), Pierce Oliver Lunde was born. 

 Here is a proud daddy and an amazing nurse, with alll of Pierce's information.

We had family come and visit us, while we were in the hospital.

 After one night in the hospital, we were headed home!  Pierce was quite the trooper on the long drive home.

New Years Message

New Year's Eve Morning

Today is New Year's Eve and so we started off the festivities by bundling up and going for a morning stroll.

 

 Daddy thought walking the steep hill to the beach might make Mommy go into labor, but it did not work! :(

 Then we had a delicious breakfast, prepared by Daddy and Beckett.

Beckett loves to help in the kitchen.

Playdate at the Church

The last few days have been raining, so Beckett has not had much of a chance to ride his new trike.  On Thursday we headed down to church to have a playdate in the church gym.  Beckett got lots of trike riding in!

 Beckett played a little basketball, while we were there.

 And of course, he had to try out the other kids' toys!

A Few More Christmas Pictures

After Christmas we had more family come to town.  It was great to see everyone!

 Beckett's Nana and Uncle Eric came the day after Christmas to celebrate with us.  Here is the stylin' jersey Uncle Eric got Beckett.

 Nana got Beckett a train table, which the boys had lots of fun putting together.

 Now everyone is gone and things have quieted down at the Lunde house.  We are patiently awaiting the arrival of Baby Pierce.  It looks like we might just be having a baby born in 2012, if he doesn't get here soon!
