Backyard BBQ

Tonight we had some of the families from church over for a BBQ.  Here are the kids enjoying dinner...

 Then we headed down to the beach for smores.  Katie made marshmallows and graham crackers from scratch.  They were delicious!!

Duathlon

This morning the Lundes headed down to Crescent City, California with Brittany, Mary, and Vanessa to compete in our first duathlon. 

 The race started with a 1.25 mile run.  Yes, I was taking pictures while running! :)

 Next was a 12 mile bike ride. 

 Grant was an all-star.  He actually completed the race, while I was just starting on the last section of the race.  Here he is on the bike section of the race...

 Then we finished with a 5K (3.1 mile) run. 

 Baby Lunde #2 and I finished!!  That was the goal of today. :)

Working in the Garden

This afternoon we cleaned up our garden beds. Beckett is becoming quite the gardener these days.

Birthday Bash

Today Beckett and I went to our friend Wilson's 3d birthday.  Beckett LOVED the present I had ordered.  He had a hard time giving it up, but was happy to get to play with it once Wilson opened it.  I guess I know what I will be getting Beckett for his birthday! :)

 The kids helped decorate the cake.  

 While we were there, we picked some blackberries. 

 Actually Momma picked them, while Becket ate them! :)

18 Month Check-Up

Today Beckett had his 18 month check up.  He now weighs 26 pounds, 12 ounces and is in the 60th percentile for weight.  Beckett is 35 inches tall and is off the chart for his height. 

Beckett was quite the trooper when he had to get his shots.  The book and rubber duckie that nurse gave him helped dry his tears real fast! :)

Good Day

Yesterday was a good day.  We didn't do anything special, but spent time with good friends and had a great time.  Here is Beckett up river, stylin' in Millie's shades...

 In the evening we headed up to Family Camp, where our church is camping for the week.  We had a yummy dinner and a great time of fellowship.   Here is Beckett playing with our good pal, Holly, on the tire swing....

Sushi Night

Tonight we had some friends over for sushi night at our house.  Grant was the great sushi chef! 

Beckett and Millie enjoyed the edamame.

 Millie liked the California Roll. 

 The best part of the sushi experience was Grant picking out the bones, with a pair of tweezers.  Man, he was dedicated to good sushi! :)

18 Months!

It is hard to believe that Beckett turned 18 months old yesterday.  What a big boy he is getting to be!!
