First Harvest of the Season

While getting ready for dinner tonight, we realized we were out of lettuce.  Beckett and I headed back to our planter boxes, where we found plenty of lettuce and spinach for salads.
Beckett made sure to show me which leaves to pick!
Yum Yum!!  We even got a few radishes too!

Kings of the Turf

Beckett and I went over to Grandpa and Grandma's house this evening to visit with them.  Beckett was very busy in the backyard!
Grandpa taught Beckett how to mow the lawn.

Beach Bums

FINALLY we had a beautiful day on the coast, so we headed down to Lone Ranch Beach.
 Our little beach bum!
 Beckett made sandcastles with Dad...
 and collected very interesting things!
 What a great family day!

Off to Church

The boys were looking sharp this morning, in their Sunday best.
Before we headed to church, Beckett wanted to do a little reading.

More Fun with Friends

Tonight we had some friends over for dinner.  Here were the ladies enjoying snacks...
while the kids were busy playing in the backyard.
 Oh, what fun!
 Best Buds: Jamison and Beckett
 More watermelon...
 "All done!"
"Here Beckett, I will share with you."

River Fun

Today we went up river with our friends, The Wilkinson's, and had a yummy lunch BBQ.

Beckett loves it up river.  There are so many fun things to do.
Josiah likes to eat delicious rocks,
 while Beckett prefers watermelon.
Here the boys are playing nice...
 Opps!  That didn't last long!!

Memorial Day Weekend

We started off Memorial Day weekend with our first 10K race.  Here we are with our Hood to Coast team.
After the race, we watched the Brookings parade with family and friends.
Beckett was a little distracted and not too interested in the parade.  He did like the balloon though!
Auntie Tera came and watched the parade with us.
On Sunday we hosted a baby shower for Auntie Tera and Baby Mason.  Beckett is not too sure about sharing his auntie with the new baby.

After the shower Grant and I headed up to the exciting city of Port Orford to celebrate our 7th anniversary.
We stayed at Redfish Loft, which is right above Redfish restaurant.  The food was amazing and the loft's view was beautiful!
Here are a few random pics from the weekend...

Beckett must have been very thirsty!
Another ice cream cone!  Still not too sure how to eat it.
