GG's Garden

Today we took a day trip over to Medford to see GG.
Beckett had so much fun playing with Aunt Mandy and his cousin, Tegan.
 Bubbles!
We spent most of the day in GG's garden playing.
GG let Tegan and Beckett help her plant.
What a great day with family!

First Swim Lesson

Today Beckett had his first swim lesson at the indoor pool, in Crescent City.  The class was a Mommy and Me swim class, so I did not get any pictures in the pool. :(

Beckett did pretty good for his first class.  At the beginning he just held on tight to his momma and stared at the screaming girl in the class.  Beckett liked the water, but his teeth were chattering (Mom's were too!).  By the end of the class he was kicking his legs a little and even moving his arms.

Day with Dad

Today Beckett and Dad spent the day together, while Mom was at a conference.  They started the day with Dad making a healthy breakfast.
Then they headed to the car wash.  Hours of entertainment there!  Beckett did not look too sure about it. :)
It was a beautiful day, so the boys enjoyed some putting practice at the golf course.
 Yay!  What a great golfer!!
After the golfing, the boys made a quick stop at the grocery store.  Look at Beckett handing his coupons to the checker.  He makes his momma proud!!
Then back home to play in the backyard.  Thank you Jenkin's family for the awesome sandbox.
Beckett also got a water table for Easter.  His backyard is full of excitement these days!!

In the Morning

Each morning Beckett hangs out with his daddy, as he gets ready for work.  Beckett LOVES to play in the closet, during this time.  The last few mornings he has become fascinated with his mom's jerseys.
Even a little love for Arizona State.
Already a TRUE Beaver Believer!

Messy Eater

Tonight was pizza night!  Beckett was a good eater, as always.   Well he appears to be a good eater, with half of it on his face and half of it in his tummy.

Trip to Portland

This past weekend we took a trip to Portland.  While we were there, we saw lots of family.
Beckett, Auntie Tera, and Baby Mason (in the belly!)
Aunt Dolores, Great Grandma Thelma, Beckett and Dad at Bob's Red Mill.
Nana had lots of fun toys for Beckett to play with.
 This was his favorite one...
On Saturday we went to a local church for an Easter carnival.
Beckett was scared to death of the clown, but liked the balloon animal she made him.
They had a little Easter Egg Hunt there too!
The Lunde's
After the carnival, we headed to the park to play.
That night Aunt Noel showed him a few keys on the piano.  Beckett is learning from the best!

Sushi

We took Beckett out for sushi, while we were in Portland.
We thought he might like a California Roll or some ebi, but he did not!
Maybe next time???
Here is a cute clip of his first bite!!!

April Family Fun Outing

For our Family Fun Outing this month, Dad took Beckett and I to the Portland's Children Museum.  Beckett and I had been once before, but this was Dad's first time.
We started in the Dig Pit, where Beckett played with lots of trucks and rocks (they were old soles of shoes!).
 Then we painted Beckett's face.
The water room was lots of fun!  Beckett played with a few of the things,
but then ended up just standing under a sprinkler and getting soaked.
I think Dad might have been having the most fun out of everyone!
Then we headed to Beckett's favorite area...the grocery store.  Dad showed him how to be the cashier
and then Beckett quickly switched spots with him and rang up Dad's groceries.  Monkey see, monkey do!
Speaking of monkies...The special exhibit right now is Curious George.  Beckett was very excited to meet the monkey he reads about in his books.

Happy Easter

Easter morning Beckett woke up to find eggs leading to Easter baskets.
Easter afternoon we headed over to Uncle Steve's house for one final Easter Egg Hunt and dinner.  Here is Beckett with all of his second cousins.  You can see he was very happy about taking the group picture!
Beckett was an expert by the fourth hunt!
Great Grandma Naomi helped him out a bit.
Lots of kids, eggs and candy!
Beckett and Ben looking handsome in their Sunday best!
